La Negra Dance Festival 2022 + XI Footwork World Championship "La Negra Salsa"

La Negra Dance Festival 2022 where the XI edition of the World Championship of Free Steps "La Negra Salsa" is celebrated is ready for you to enjoy an incredible show with the best dancers from around the world. You can learn to dance with workshops of all styles and levels and enjoy the shows offered by the World Championship of Free Steps.

The festival will take place from 20th to 23rd October 2022.

The International Free Steps Championship was born in Barcelona - Spain in May 2010 to become a pioneering approach among the international salsa competitions that until now had not given importance to the so-called "shines" or free steps.

The main objective of our event is to support and stimulate all dancers and dancers who love the genre and invite them to explore the salsa universe beyond the conventional form of the male-female couple.

That is why it is an "Open", a competition open to both professionals and amateurs, aimed at individual dancers or same-sex couples competing in two categories: Male and Female and aspiring to separate prizes.
